Artist's Description
Two years ago I had the opportunity and the happiness to photograph this wonderful animal in its natural environment. I came across the remains of a dead animal, made an improvised shelter in the hope that foxes or jackals, vultures and other birds would come to the feast. And here the jackal appeared. He was very cautious, watched the situation carefully for more than 15 minutes, sniffed around, and finally tore a piece of meat from the carcass and fled into the woods.
